It’s no surprise that our beloved style-guru, Rachel Bilson was front and center at New York’s Fall 2010 Fashion Week. As the newly named Creative Director of Sunglass Hut, Bilson announced the details of their new “Full Time Fabulous” search for a celebrity fashion blogger in NYC wearing Vaness Bruno’s floral nude silk blouse, Jitrois black leather short shorts, and in the second image….
her classic black and gold Ray-ban wayfarers: ♫ “I wear my sunglasses at night…” ♫
Rachel is a barometer of all things that are fashion-forward yet tasteful. A nude silk blouse is a great go-to with black skinnies (jeans, cords, or cotton), hot short shorts (leather rocks, but wool and cotton work too). It’s as great under a blazer with a suit as it is with leggings and high over-the-knee black boots. The silk’s subtle feminine detail is enough to perfectly offset “mmmenswear” trouser pants. And for the daring… rock some “she ♥s short shorts” – J’ah-mazing.

Love the blouse AND the shorts! A real mix of romantic and rocker!
I trust Rachel’s fashion sense, as much as I trust WATW’s… A LOT!
I need this blouse! I definitely can’t pull off the shorts but would wear with black skinnies!
Rachel is indeed a style guru…..she is a great example for those of us who are not tall!!! Thanks for featuring her!
totally, hot Hot HOT.
awe, thank you!!
my go-to date uniform, there’s nothing better
pleasure – perfectly petite and fabulous. She owns every trend and makes tall girls wish we were shorter!
This is the perfect example of how to take shorts and turn them into a hot evening look. More comfortable than a short skirt but just as sexy! Bilson nails it as usual…
Really love this blouse on her. Can’t say the shorts would work in Toronto this time of year but props to her for putting this combo together and owning the look with so much confidence too.
She always looks so fashionable..what I love the most about her is, she’s never afraid to take risks but she knows what works for her petite body. It seems effortless for her. I love that she’s a guest contributor to InStyle magazine as well!
totally! “ask Rachel” is the section of the mag I flip to first every month…
“Soft, silky tops and dresses are always a must. I’m also loving leather shorts – they’re the perfect day-into-night piece.” – Nicole Chavez, Celebrity Stylist to Rachel Bilson
